Well I am pulling out my Cart and getting it all ready for the new show year. Ordered up a new boot and basket and some shaft stops. I will also be powder coating all the metal black (its got a few wall chips in it). The Pony is working well, we have hooked her 10 times now. She is still a little drunk, but has not had any issues yet.

I have been working my horse(saddlebred) all winter, but the 3 year old(pony) has not been hooked since November. Both have been in bitting rigs quite a bit, but I need to start thinking horse shows!

I got the powder coating all done. The parts look great!
Now I am just trying to find some new hardware to put it back together again. I also picked up a new boot and basket. The trailer is out and ready to hook. The pony is doing well for her fist few hooks. And I have been taking lessons in Saddle seat and my try my hand at that this year.

All right so the first show was a bust with my pony Rubi, She flipped in the cart when we were hooking her up. Broke a shaft and I do not have a spare cart yet. We did show her in hand and took 3 first and 3 seconds (Pinto has 6 judges per show). The next show (3 weeks later) she placed mid group in Ideal Pino (show with the cart then strip them down and show in halter). And I just got my replacement shafts today !!!!
I aslo fell in love with one more Pony His name is Hal and he is 4.
He is also a Pinto and brakes level with no foot or shoe. He is broke to ground drive so I droped him off at the trainers for a while. He should make a good roadster pony.
Best luck to all of you this show year.

Well Rubi finished in the top 3 for halter in Pinto this year, top 10 for pleasue driving, Top 10 for trail.

We got the new Pony Hal Yha in a few classes at the last show. He took 4th out of 10 for Roadster and came in 3 place to my other pony Rubi in Halter. We are also getting Rubi sined up for American Show Pony or something like that. There is a early show in April I am going to take her to. I hope to kick some butt there !!

Anyone thinking about shows yet for 2009? My horse is shod, but that's about it.
